On September 12th and 13th, the Sierra Lutheran Girl’s Golf team attended the Division III State Meet in Ely, NV. All of the girls played well; Kami Niles placed 6th overall. This marks the beginning of a great program at Sierra Lutheran, and the students on this year’s roster (all sophomores) are excited for next year. “We could not be more proud of the hard work and sportsmanship our team has exhibited, especially this being the first year of the program,” says Pastor Juls Clausen, who traveled with the girls to the State Meet. “Watching how they played this season, coupled with observing their dedication to the sport, leaves little doubt as to the great season these young women can look forward to next year.”
