And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” Luke 2:13-14
As the seasons shift and the air turns crisper, we eagerly anticipate the cherished Thanksgiving gatherings with loved ones and the moments spent around the dinner table, sharing stories and laughter. More importantly, we also look forward to the sacred season of Advent, a time of preparation and hope, leading us to the joy of Christmas. It is a wonderful opportunity to deepen our connections with family and community, embracing the spirit of giving and kindness that defines this time of year as we join the angels by celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
Every year, Sierra Lutheran High School seeks to fulfill our mission by Encouraging and Nurturing Faith in Christ and Academic Excellence. This mission is celebrated here in Northern Nevada and in our ministry of sharing the Gospel in our community. We hope to bring more people into God’s family in faith, to celebrate and bring joy in heaven as well (Luke 15:7).
Part of our ministry at Sierra Lutheran is ensuring that as many students as possible can be a part of the Falcon Faith Family and grow holistically in a Christ-centered environment. Sierra Lutheran is able, through the continual support of our donors annually, to keep tuition low. Thanks be to God that we have such an incredible community of supporters. A core group of donors, the Sierra Lutheran Angels, graciously join us on our mission to serve our outstanding students by donating monthly to help defray operating costs. These wonderful Angles give according to their means and from their hearts. Many have been an Angel giver for many years, and we are truly blessed by their joyful giving.
